DDL Inc., an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory, subjected the AcroMat 100-1, 100-Cleanroom, and 100-ESD Series molded nitrile mats to ASTM International D3574-17 Dynamic Fatigue Testing alongside two top-selling competitor mats made from extruded PVC foam. After 80,000 compressions, the nitrile material proved to be permanently resilient – maintaining greater than 98% thickness and regaining form as the pounding wore on. The PVC foam mats lost 4.4-6.1% thickness and continued to compress over time, indicating permanent breakdown.

CSA Group | Curl Strength Testing After Accelerated Aging

CSA Group, an OSHA Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), subjected our 100-1, 100-Cleanroom, and 100-ESD Series mats to 5 years of accelerated aging alongside one of the most commonly use diamond-plate mat designs – an extruded PVC foam mat with a vinyl diamond-plate surface and waterfall edge. The 100-Series mats showed zero sign of curling after 5 years, while the traditional diamond-plate mat curled in less than 1 year.

CSA Group | Seam Integrity Testing After Accelerated Aging
Independent testing shows AcroMat 100-Series anti-fatigue mat seams maintain structural integrity after 4 years of accelerated aging and mechanical pull testing.
CSA Group, an OSHA NRTL, subjected our 100-1, 100-Cleanroom, and 100-ESD Series mats to 4 years of accelerated aging followed by high-force mechanical pull testing. The AcroMat seams remained uncompromised after 4 years and grew stronger from year 1-4 despite constant exposure to heat, chemicals, and moisture. Specifically, the average force at break increased by 5.03% from year 1-4, while the average elongation at break reached 202% (or 3X) of its original measurement after 4 years – both indicating an increase in seam strength over time.

National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) | NFSI Certified for "High Traction"
All AcroMat anti-fatigue mats have proven to reduce wet-slip risks by 50-90% according to testing conducted by the National Floor Safety Institute.
The AcroMat 100-1, 100-Cleanroom, 100-ESD, and NitriTuf Diamond Series mats are NFSI Certified for "High Traction" after earning a Transitional Coefficient of Friction (TCOF) of 0.76. According to the NFSI, anti-fatigue mats with a 0.60 or greater TCOF rating indicates a high level of slip resistance when wet and have proven to reduce slip and fall risks by 50%-90%.

The AcroMat 100-Cleanroom and 100-ESD Series mats garnered cleanroom certification after 500 hours of rigorous testing with no sign of contamination.
The AcroMat 100-Cleanroom and 100-ESD Series mats are certified for Class 100 and Class 5 (ISO-5) cleanroom use. Each mat was subjected to 500 hours of rigorous, third-party testing and showed zero signs of contamination – earning the Class 5 Cleanroom Certification from Acorn Industries (previously Ultraclean Products).
